I have been practicing yoga for the past 15 years, and it has changed my life in a profound way. I found yoga to be my refuge while working in the fast-paced fashion industry. Overtime, the fashion career took a toll on my overall health and spirit. I eventually realized that it was time to leave and reconnect with myself and my yoga practice. Yoga was the beginning of my healing journey that has now become a professional passion. Along with being a yoga instructor, I am a psychic medium, intuitive energy healer, Reiki Master and 13th Octave LaHoChi Practitioner. I teach challenging vinyasa-flow classes, linking fluid movement and breath awareness. I emphasize the technical approach to postures within a creative flow that creates physical stability, strength and increased flexibility. I am continuously studying, learning and exploring new and exciting ways to help and inspire others on and off the mat.

Shawna Rocheleau always had a love for dance that after high school led her to the Hartford Conservatory in Hartford Connecticut. It was there that she was first introduced to yoga. Over time, while practicing, she began to realize the importance of connecting the breath to movement and she was able to incorporate this new breath awareness into her dancing helping her to feel more fluid. A few years after finishing the Conservatory, Shawna re- visited the practice of yoga. She became more aware of the positive changes within herself and the wonderful benefits yoga had to offer both on and off the mat. What really drew Shawna to yoga though was the peace and calm she found within herself during her yoga practice. Realizing that since she’s always had a passion for helping and encouraging others to feel the best that they can as well as a desire to help others cultivate a peace and calm for themselves, she would begin yoga teacher training with Paula Scopino at Sacred Rivers Yoga. In January 2014 Shawna became a certified yoga instructor and in March 2019 she became a 500 hour yoga instructor through Lotus Gardens Yoga School. Shawna has also studied yoga nidra with Beth Gibbs of Integrative Yoga Therapy and continues her education by taking workshops and attending classes.
Since becoming certified, Shawna has been enjoying teaching vinyasa, yoga nidra and gentle classes incorporating different levels of flow pace, restorative postures and a fun playlist of music. Her classes are inspired by dance, breath awareness, joy, and influenced by the Iyengar and Kripalu trained teachers she has studied under. Shawna’s goal as a teacher is to guide students through a mindful and relaxed practice while encouraging them to listen to their bodies as a guide to making their practice their own. Shawna strongly feels that yoga is a true gift and has something to offer every Body and looks forward to seeing you in class to explore the gift of yoga together.
When Jeremy first started practicing yoga in 2015, he immediately noticed the physical improvement in his body: more flexibility and body awareness. Shortly thereafter, he coupled his yoga practice with meditation then soon noticed the positive impact his practice had on his mental health: his anxiety was easier to manage and his patience grew. Later he'd notice how his better-managed anxiety resulted in deeper, longer breathing, which in turn deepened his physical practice.
Jeremy is now RYT 200 hour-certified and teaches yoga and mobility, as a way to share his learnings and inspire others to discover and deepen their mind-body connection. He brings a calm yet playful energy to his classes, which are a blend of various styles of yoga (including Katonah, Bikram, Ashtanga and Forrest) and mobility practices. He aims to hold a space for students of any level to turn inwardly to deepen their understanding of self and strengthen their physical body.
